Terms of Use

1. What PawCheck is โ and isn't
PawCheck provides informational product-safety scores generated from label contents, published ingredient knowledge and public recall data. It is not veterinary advice, and no score, recommendation or article in the app is a substitute for consultation with a licensed veterinarian. Final feeding and care decisions rest with you and your vet.
2. Accuracy
We work hard to read labels accurately and to keep recall data current, and the app is designed to ask for a retake rather than guess. Still, label reading can err, formulations change, and recall feeds have publication delays. Always verify the physical label before feeding, especially for allergies.
3. Subscriptions
PawCheck requires a subscription after a free trial. Pricing and trial length are displayed in the app before any purchase. Billing is handled by Apple through your App Store account; you can cancel anytime in your App Store subscription settings, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Trials convert to paid unless cancelled before the trial ends โ the app reminds you before that happens.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos you take. You grant us the limited right to process them to identify products and improve identification quality.
5. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to reverse engineer the service, abuse the scanning API, or use the app's output to defame product manufacturers. Scores are personalized opinions computed from disclosed rules โ presenting them as objective claims about a company is on you, not us.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voltaix Group is not liable for damages arising from reliance on scores or guidance in the app. The service is provided "as is."
7. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected here with a new date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
